INTERNATIONAL selection and jury

A selection of international series in competition in front of a jury of professionals

As every year, an official selection of 15 international short series will be presented to the public and put in competition before a jury of professionals.
This official selection will naturally focus on the quality and originality of the series in competition. Carried out by professionals in the audiovisual industry, this selection is made on the basis of precise qualitative criteria (script, staging, acting, technical qualities, etc.).

Through this official selection, the festival wishes to highlight the diversity of creation and wants to be an incubator of new talents and to serve as a springboard for creation. In addition, most of the series presented will be broadcast exclusively.

In total, 15 international series will compete against a jury (in process of constitution) of international professionals.

For this exceptional edition (linked to the current global health crisis), the Marseille Web Fest will offer the first episodes (20 minutes maximum) of the series will be available free online, with subtitles (in French for foreign series) subject to registration on a dedicated platform.

The jury composed of international professionals will choose, after an online viewing, the winners of the following prizes:

JURY

For its 10th edition, the Jury is chaired by Serge Ladron de Guevara, executive producer at Telfrance and also composed of Tatiana-Margaux Bonhomme, director and screenwriter, Claire Leproust Maroko, president of Fablabchannel, Bertrand Levallois, executive producer and Cécile Queniart, assistant director in the digital department at TV5monde.
